Steria, technical partner to the ING Renault F1 Team, wishes good luck to the team for the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship!
As the technical partner to the ING Renault F1 Team delivering IT consultancy services and application management, Steria is helping to improve the team's racing performance.
Steria provides consulting services to optimise efficiency of SAP solutions used for developing engines, and develops software capable of analysing the high volumes of data produced by the car's on-board systems.
The 2009 season starts on the 29th of March in Melbourne.

Steria manages an intelligent interface between the critical on-board systems and the automatic data
analysis system. During the race, the on-board IT systems process over 2,000 operations per second. The
data is then analysed to improve the performance of the vehicle and give the driver the best chance of
success.

In addition to the races, Steria provides advice to optimise the efficiency of SAP solutions used to
develop the engines. The idea is to increase the overall performance of the team in order to ensure optimal
racing conditions.
The 2009 season will be run during 17 races
The 2009 season begins on 29 March in Melbourne (Australia) and will end on the 1st of November at
Interlagos (Brazil).
